Terms of Service of Craft-World

1. Introduction

Welcome to Craft-World, a multi-user virtual world accessible via the Internet.
Access to and use of the services, whether free or paid, is subject to acceptance of these Terms of Service, the online conduct rules (netiquette), and the laws in force in Italy and the European Union.
Failure to consent to these conditions will result in the inability to access the grid.

2. Users and access requirements

• Access is normally allowed to users aged 18 or older.
• School regions are an exception, where access for minor students is possible only through anonymous accounts managed by responsible teachers.

3. Rules of conduct

In all areas of the grid, including regions hosted on third-party servers, the following is strictly prohibited:
• Promoting texts or actions that exalt racism, violence, sexism, or homophobia.
• Harassing, defaming, or performing offensive actions towards other users.
• Creating, sharing, or promoting child pornography material (such conduct will be reported to the competent authorities, including international ones).
• Performing griefing activities, including using malicious scripts, object self-replication, or an excessive number of heavy attachments.
• Using copybots or other tools to copy other users’ content without authorization.
• Choosing offensive or degrading account names.
• Disclosing personal information of third parties without their explicit consent.

4. Region classification and permitted content

4.1 PG Regions (General Purpose)
• Graphic violence is prohibited; only moderate content in educational or artistic contexts is allowed.
• Nudity and any depiction of sexual acts is prohibited.
• Appropriate language is required.

4.2 Mature Regions
• Nudity is allowed if contextualized (artistic or educational).
• Explicit sexual acts are prohibited.
• Violence is allowed only in role-playing, theatrical, or educational contexts, without glorification.

4.3 Adult Regions
• Nudity, explicit sexual acts, and role-playing with violent or sexual content are allowed only among consenting adults.
• Child pornography and pedophilia are strictly prohibited and will be reported to the authorities.
The internal rules of each region (Land Covenant) may be equal to or more restrictive than these guidelines, never less.

5. Rules for region owners

• The owner can classify the region as PG, Mature, or Adult, in accordance with Craft-World guidelines.
• Adult regions are moved to a dedicated area of the map.
• Payments must be made by the agreed deadline.

5.1 Suspension and closure conditions
  • In case of non-payment, the region will be suspended 30 days after the due date.
  • If payment is not made within 45 days, the region will be permanently closed and nothing will be owed by the owner.
  • The preservation of backups of closed regions is not guaranteed.
  • The owner may renounce the region at any time without notice and without further payment obligations beyond those already due.
  • The owner may rent the land for free or for payment, according to their own conditions.

6. Owners of regions on personal PCs or third-party servers

• The user requests administrators to allow a region on their own servers in the grid. Administrators evaluate the request based on certain requirements, preferring requests accompanied by a valid project or from companies or public administration.
• It is necessary to agree with Craft-World administrators on the position of regions on the map.
• Regions can be public or private and classified as PG, Mature, or Adult.
• Adult regions must be placed in the dedicated area and cannot be rented for money.
• Administrators reserve the right to remove regions that do not comply with classification rules.

7. Privacy

Craft-World respects personal data protection regulations.
• Collected data is limited to what is necessary to provide the service and comply with legal and accounting obligations.
• No personal data will ever be transferred, sold, or disclosed, except at the request of competent authorities.
• Users can request access to their data, correction, or deletion at any time, except for data required for accounting obligations (kept for 5 years).

8. Limitation of liability

Craft-World commits to providing the service with the utmost diligence, but does not guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
To the extent permitted by law, Craft-World’s liability for direct and foreseeable damages resulting from the use of the service is limited to cases of intent or gross negligence.
Compensation for indirect damages, data loss not due to intent or gross negligence, lost profits, or interruptions not attributable to the Owner is excluded.

9. Administrator access to private regions

Administrators have access to private regions to ensure content moderation, respecting users’ privacy.
Regions that prevent administrator access will be deregistered from the grid.

10. Acceptance of the Terms

Access to Craft-World implies full acceptance of these Terms of Service.
If not accepted, entry into the virtual world is prohibited.
